Job Overview:
The successful candidate will work within DDI Operations, focusing on DNS, DHCP, and IP provisioning. This role involves managing and maintaining DNS records, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data consistency across multiple data centers. The position offers a hybrid work schedule for candidates located in Chicago or Houston, with the possibility of full remote work for candidates in other locations. The role is contract-based with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Infoblox as a DNS/IPAM management solution.
  • Create and maintain DNS records, including A, CName, MX, TXT, DKIM, and SPF type records.
  • Manage IPAM data across three data centers, ensuring data is applied consistently and accurately for all requests.
  • Troubleshoot issues encountered by Developers and App Support Teams related to DNS.
  • Work within Network Insight to reclaim IPs and manage subnet deletions.
  • Condense discovered data within the Infoblox appliance and make corrections to the live database as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to assist teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience with Infoblox.
  • Strong knowledge of DNS and DHCP.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) ticket management platform.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory is a plus.
  • Experience in change management processes and ITIL Change Management.
  • Solid documentation skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.

Pay Range: $30-40/hr W2
