D3 Search seeks a Law Office Administrative Services Manager role with an elite, regional CA-based full-service law practice with a growing office located in West Los Angeles, CA (90067)

Law Office Administrative Services Manager
- Important Note (REQUIREMENTS): 5 years OF previous law office managerial experience required. MUST have overseen and coordinated legal secretarial workflow in a 100 lawyer practice.

Position Summary:
Oversee the daily operations of the law firm’s administrative support/secretarial team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of legal processes, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple tasks while providing support to both staff and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks:
- Provide supervision and guidance regarding the workflow, resources and priorities in assigned functions; Supervise direct report staff and projects;
- Manage workflow;
- Oversee and perform daily administrative operations and services for local departments including Client Services Specialists, Paralegals, Office Services, Records, Facilities and/or Reception;
- Plan and execute office events;
- Participate in the hiring processes for administrative staff including the interview process;
- Budget Control;
- Work beyond scheduled hours as required.
General Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- Fundamental proficiency in planning, allocating and reconciling an operations budget;
- Fundamental to advanced knowledge of office administration and services procedures and best practices, preferably in a legal environment;
- Familiarity with Westlaw for conducting thorough legal research;
- Exceptional phone etiquette with strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Previous experience as a legal secretary is highly desirable, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of legal processes;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting, demonstrating leadership qualities;
Competencies/Proficiencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
- HRIS;
- IManage;
- Fundamental proficiency in planning, allocating and reconciling an operations budget;
- Fundamental knowledge of records management;
- Fundamental knowledge of reception procedures in a law firm setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 4 years of supervisory experience
- At least six (6) years of experience in a LEGAL/LAW FIRM ENVIRONMENT, in addition to a generous total compensation package with the opportunity to earn bonuses based upon individual contribution and firm profitability.
Annual Salary/Compensation & Benefits:
Annual salary/comp. is up to 150K (DOE/DOQ)plus a comprehensive and industry-leading benefits package, paid parking onsite, 401K, generous PTO, annual reviews, etc.
