Lead Infant Teacher
Summary The Butterfly Garden Child Development Center is immediately hiring a experienced, caring Lead Teacher for our small Infant Classroom nestled in a Home-Like environment.
Duties
- Be of good cheer and sing
- Create Developmentally Appropriate Individual Creative Curriculum Lesson Plans
- Engage with Infants on the floor without seats for best development
- Provide Sensory Exploration opportunities
- Provide outside experiences daily
- Document Developmental Observations in our School BrightWheel App
- Supervise feeding times with self-feeding assistance when applicable
- Communicate clearly with parents & staff in a positive, professional manner
- Clean, Sanitize and Disinfect thoroughly, especially on the Infant’s level
- Prepare bottles & meals
- Maintain all required documentation & forms
- Maintain all required Training and Professional Development
Requirements
- Current NC Criminal Background Qualification Letter
- Current NC Childcare Medical Exam & TB Test
- NC Early Childhood Credentials (Introduction to Childcare College Couse)
- Child & Pediatric CPR & FA Certificate (within 90 days)
- SIDS Certificate
- Maintain all required Infant Class required documentation and training
- Be able to physically perform the requirements of Lifting, Walking, Running, Bending, Squatting and Sitting on the floor that may be necessary to care for infant’s & one’s.
