Description:

Birch Agency is hiring a School Social Worker to join our team for the 20252026 school year . This position is located near Lockport, Illinois , and involves working with an elementary-level caseload.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position

• Elementary caseload

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to provide social-emotional and behavioral support

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and support students overall well-being

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement

• Experience working with elementary students preferred

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:

• Starting at $45 per hour, based on experience
