About The Role

As an Associate DevOps Engineer at Momentus Technologies, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and maintaining our systems and applications to ensure high availability, security, and scalability. You will work independently on various projects, contribute innovative ideas to improve our infrastructure, and support our development and deployment pipelines. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in automation, cloud management, and system monitoring. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively across different audiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the stability and scalability of our SaaS platform, supporting millions of events worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, systems administration, or related fields
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
  • College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Ability to be on call one weekend out of every seven weeks
  • Proficiency in scripting or Object-Oriented Programming languages
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and writing complex SQL queries
  • Knowledge of infrastructure management tools and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Understanding of networking principles and best practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to innovation

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high performance and reliability
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
  • Monitor system health and performance, utilizing infrastructure management tools to proactively address issues
  • Configure and manage cloud services across platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Implement security best practices for network and system communications
  • Query and manipulate data using SQL and NoSQL databases for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand technical challenges and propose effective solutions
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure, processes, and procedures to ensure operational continuity
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions to improve system efficiency
