Must have:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud DevOps or cloud platform engineering, preferably in AWS. You should have experience in constructing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD or a similar tool, along with the ability to author Infrastructure-as-Code utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with container orchestration and workflows (Docker and EKS/ECS) and/or serverless architecture (AWS Lambda) is essential. Practical experience with secrets management and KMS integration is needed, as well as a working knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Exposure to RBAC and attribute-based or policy-driven controls (ABAC/OPA/IAM conditions) is desirable. Proficiency in scripting or automation (Python, Bash, or similar) and strong collaboration skills are necessary for effective teamwork. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field is required.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be part of our Solutions team, where you will develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for applications, APIs, and database lifecycle changes. Your key tasks will involve automating builds, tests, policy checks, and safe rollback strategies. You will take charge of Infrastructure-as-Code (using Terraform/CloudFormation) for application infrastructure, networking, environment promotion, and DBaaS provisioning. Managing secrets and key lifecycle while integrating Secrets Manager, KMS, and secure vault patterns into pipelines is part of your duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining observability metrics, logs, distributed tracing, dashboards, and alerts to support SLOs and incident detection. Additionally, you will implement and automate authorization models, support containerized and serverless deployments, automate DBaaS tasks, and maintain operational runbooks and incident playbooks. Collaborating with Full Stack, Data, and Platform engineers will enhance secure dataset handoffs and app integration, while you will continuously seek opportunities for cost optimization and improvements in reliability, security, and developer experience.
