Must have:

We require candidates to have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or software development. You should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, specifically with building pipelines in AWS Glue or relational databases. Additionally, experience with version control via GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform is also necessary. Proficiency in Spark and other big data processing frameworks, as well as languages like Python and SQL, is vital. You must also have experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora), and be familiar with ETL processes and tools like Informatica or AWS Glue. It’s important that you can translate business requirements into technical specifications and work collaboratively across functions. Finally, the position is hybrid, requiring onsite presence one day per week, and applicants must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities:


In this role, you will take part in all aspects of agile software development, which includes design, implementation, and deployment. You will be expected to design, develop, and deploy modular data pipelines while maintaining cloud software solutions according to best practices. Your tasks will also include ensuring data storage and processing functions operate efficiently in line with company security policies. Additionally, you will regularly review existing systems and propose improvements, as well as interact with clients to provide cloud support and make recommendations based on their needs.
