This role offers an exciting opportunity to strengthen a global organization’s cybersecurity posture by enhancing its visibility, detection, and response capabilities. As a Cybersecurity Engineering & Operations Consultant, you’ll design and optimize logging and monitoring solutions that empower security teams with actionable insights and faster response times, ensuring resilience against emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and improvement of cybersecurity monitoring and logging systems.
- Utilize tools such as Splunk, Elastic Stack, Cribl, and NDR platforms to build scalable observability frameworks.
- Provide actionable insights that accelerate incident response and improve security visibility.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives.
- Drive innovation and influence the strategic cybersecurity direction of the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, focusing on logging, monitoring, and infrastructure.
- Strong expertise with Splunk, Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and Cribl.
- Skilled in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipeline integration for scalable deployments.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation and tool integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Splunk, Elastic Search, Microsoft Sentinel, Palo Alto Strata, and Cribl.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
