The Monitor Technician is a member of the Nursing Department who performs technical support regarding the cardiac monitoring system.Qualifications Responsibilities:

Education Required

• Must complete in-house orientation program
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Monitor Tech orientation.

Experience And Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Minimum of 6 months monitoring experience (Hospital, clinic, office setting) preferred or 6 months of healthcare setting experience

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
• Frequent, prolonged standing/walking, lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients.
• Protective clothing worn: face shields, gloves, impermeable gown, and particulate respirator.
