Corporate Controller – Financial Control & Systems

Oversee all aspects of accounting end-to-end, including revenue recognition, general ledger, consolidation, balance sheet accounts, tax, cash flow, SOX and international accounting. Oversee the production of accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, management commentary, and regulatory submissions. Manage accounting and consolidations for subsidiaries, partnerships, and other structures to enable the growth ambitions for the business. Oversee legal entity governance for legal entities in scope and represent the organization in board and audit meetings. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group directives and manage complex technical accounting areas. Direct the preparation and accuracy of financial statements to meet regulatory requirements. Provide financial insights and analysis to senior leadership, contributing to strategy formulation and decision-making. Support management reporting processes with timely and accurate financial data. Audit, Taxation and Treasury Management: Develop strategies to enhance cash flow visibility and reporting, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align accounting strategies with business objectives. Support financial planning and analysis, treasury operations, investor relations, and M&A due diligence and integration. Create clarity – provide visionary leadership for the controllership function, establishing a high-performing team dedicated to financial excellence. Develop people – Mentor and develop the accounting and system teams (currently a team of 30 people), fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Drive results – develop and efficiently execute on a comprehensive vision for the organization to support strong growth and increasing complexity. Experience within a matrix organization leading financial control for a stand-alone business unit within a publicly traded organization.
