It is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians, providing human service needs for special populations including individuals who are deaf, blind, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill, and helping poor North Carolinians achieve economic independence.Description of Work This position, under the direction of the Area Director, works directly with the home QIDPs in overseeing all aspects of residential life for the people that live at JIRDC including the development, administration and maintenance of resident’s individual program plans, teaching objectives, and active treatment . This is to ensure compliance with Federal Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Standards, State and Federal Statutes and facility operational policies. The Senior QIDP works to identify strengths and weaknesses in homes’ service delivery systems. From that information he/she works with the QIDP to develop results-based strategies to improve and maintain appropriate services within each home.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Range: $39,671.00 – $69,426.00Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs )/Management Preferences are not required.
