Housekeepers perform a variety of duties while cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, common areas, lobby areas, offices, bathrooms, and other assigned areas both inside and outside the hospital building. This is accomplished by using the appropriate disinfectants and cleaners to enhance the overall appearance and sanitation of the hospital. They also operate various pieces of heavy cleaning equipment, perform medium to heavy physical work, and will need to follow written and verbal instructions. Much of the work is performed independently, but you will also be part of a team and must be willing to be a good team member. We expect that you will be pleasant, courteous, and thoughtful around patients, staff, and visitors.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesPay Range: $26,851.00 – $46,991.00Recruitment Range: $31,200.00 – $46,991.00Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required.
