Find your next opportunity today!Description of Work The Clinical Social Worker is responsible for facilitating therapeutic group sessions within the Hope and Wellness Center treatment mall program. The Clinical Social Worker develops and implements group-based interventions utilizing evidenced-based modalities and techniques. This position must exercise clinical judgement to continually assess the needs of group participants, monitor group dynamics and adapt interventions as needed to target various treatment goals. This position monitors and documents on participants responses, performance, and progress towards goals outlined in the comprehensive treatment plan. This position may also serve on a variety of Hope and Wellness Center and/or hospital wide committees and workgroups.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesRecruitment Range: $50,633.00 – $88,607.00*A Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)/ Management Preferences are not required. - Knowledge of social work principles, techniques, and practices, and their application to inpatient psychiatric treatment.
- Ability to apply DSM-5 criteria and knowledge of psychopathology to assess and develop evidence based, clinically therapeutic interventions in a group therapy setting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with adult patients exhibiting a wide range of cognitive capacities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective therapeutic relationships with diverse patient populations and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
