As a Supervisor, Web Content, you will:

  • Play a key role in shaping the digital experience for millions of patients and families, ensuring our web platforms are optimized for discovery, usability, and conversion.
  • Ensure that every page on our site is discoverable, conversion-friendly, and aligned with best-in-class digital standards.
  • Lead the development, management, and optimization of web content across Scripps Health’s digital platforms.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of Web Content Specialists, ensuring the creation and maintenance of high-quality, engaging, and informative content that reflects Scripps Health’s commitment to excellence in health care.
  • Apply advanced technical SEO and AI-driven search optimization practices, including schema markup, site architecture, crawlability, and page performance optimization.
  • Lead a structured conversion rate optimization (CRO) program from hypothesis design to A/B testing and implementation.
  • Partner with design and development teams to enhance UX/UI for clarity, accessibility, and improved user journeys.
  • Translate SEO and CRO insights into actionable recommendations that inform both content creation and technical implementation.
  • Stay ahead of emerging search trends, including Google’s AI Overviews and other AI-driven search features, adapting strategies to maximize visibility.

Have a strong background in content strategy, SEO, and team leadership within the healthcare industry.#LI-JS1Qualifications Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Health Sciences, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in web content management, preferably in the healthcare industry, including supervisory experience.Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Strong analytical skills including the understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical SEO (e.g., structured data, site performance, crawlability) and CRO/UX optimization
  • Utilize digital performance metrics, usability testing, and search insights to inform and guide content strategy, ensuring high engagement and optimization across all web platforms.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a focus on health-related content.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and web performance measurement tools.
  • Strong understanding of emerging search features such as Google’s AI Overviews and their impact on content strategy.
