Job Title: Drafter Level 2
Location: Palmdale, California

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drafter Level 2 to support the development of advanced aerospace systems. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system and sub-system drawing packages.
• Plan, layout, draw, and revise detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings.
• Incorporate redlines and feedback from engineering teams.
• Utilize computer-aided design tools such as CATIA, CAD, CAM, NX, CADAM, and CADEX.
• Complete detailed drawings in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices.
• Determine scaling, insert reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning.
• Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
• Suggest design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of additional education and/or related experience.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5, NX, CADAM, CADEX, and GD&T.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
