Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of products from suppliers across the United States, implementing quality-control processes, and driving supplier performance excellence.What You Will Be Doing As the Supplier Quality Field Representative Staff you will be responsible for representing the Missiles and Fire Control organization on-site at the Aerojet L3 facility, executing supplier-quality activities, and safeguarding mission-critical product integrity.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conducting on-site supplier audits, inspections, and product source verification in accordance with applicable standards.

Implementing and monitoring quality-control processes to ensure consistent supplier performance.

Collaborating with internal engineering, program, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues promptly.

Driving continuous-improvement initiatives and corrective-action plans with suppliers.

Providing clear, concise weekly reports on supplier status and risk assessments to leadership.

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.Basic Qualifications -Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.-Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures, including AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems-Strong understanding of engineering drawing requirements, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and mechanical and electrical inspection methods.-Must be able to identify and document supplier’s quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective actions.-Ability to focus on continual improvement practices and increase affordability.-Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, including working with suppliers.-Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and support all program supplier quality engineering activities.Desired skills -Technical degree from an accredited college-An understanding of the MFC SAP and P2P business systems.-ASQ Certification, i.e., (1) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) , (2) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or (3) Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)-Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)-Experience with source inspection, special process surveys, purchase order reviews and surveillance activities at suppliers-Ordnance experience-Demonstrated leadership and customer relationship management skillsVirtualnoZip71701EEOLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer.
