Immediate PERMANENT opportunity as a Product Engineer with a local, growing company that’s been in business for over 75 years!The Product Engineer is directly responsible for managing product lines through timely, accurate design and process maintenance and improvement.-Develops product and process improvement though product and manufacturing knowledge and working directly with internal and external teams to accomplish these improvements.-Works with outside vendors to develop alternative sources of supply for all critical parts.The Product Engineer seeks knowledge of our market, applicable code organizations and company processes.Job Requirements

• Bachelor”s degree or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of engineering experience (Industrial equipment or fire protection industry a plus)
• Desire to grow and develop to next level
• Experience as Product Designer or Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Hand-on style demonstrating mechanical skill.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks, preferred, or other 3D modeling system.
• Experience in PLC programing and coding of control systems using LabView or similar
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience working/managing vendors a plus
• Strong organizational skills
