Senior Network Architect
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize complex enterprise network infrastructures for large-scale organizations with thousands of employees. This position is hybrid (onsite a few times per month) in Prince William VA (Woodbridge).
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Cisco technologies, a proven track record in teaching Cisco networking concepts, and a focus on security integration to ensure robust, scalable, and secure network solutions.
Pay rate: $100hr-105hr w2

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of high-availability enterprise networks, including WAN, LAN, and data center environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures using tools like Splunk, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct training sessions on advanced Cisco networking concepts.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance network performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide hands-on support in mission-critical environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- CCIE certification required (at least one, multiple preferred); CCDE certification ideal but not required.
- 10 years of hands-on experience in complex enterprise networking for organizations with 10,000 employees.
- Proven expertise in network architecture, including routing, switching, and SDN.
- Strong background in network security, with proficiency in Splunk, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and related tools.
