Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Retirement Planning Services Technology team. You will play a key role in supporting our Recordkeeping Platform and Applications, contributing to the full software development lifecycle-from design and development to testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production support.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative Agile environment and is passionate about delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong experience with C# / .NET development.
  • Proficiency in HTML/JavaScript and Angular.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with API development and test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Jasmine, Karma.
  • Manual testing experience.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools , especially Bamboo pipelines.
  • Background in the finance domain (banking, investment, retirement services, etc.).
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building cloud-ready applications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions/Workflows.
