Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized IT Project Coordinator II to assist in planning work priorities and coordinating specific tasks and activities within the work-stream of a project. The role involves supporting the review and modification of the existing Project Lifecycle Management process and assisting with the rollout of a streamlined process. The ideal candidate will work under supervision to ensure effective project execution and transition into production.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning work priorities and coordinating specific tasks within the project work-stream.
- Support the review and modification of the Project Lifecycle Management process and assist in its rollout.
- Compile project status reports and coordinate project schedules.
- Manage project meetings and identify and resolve technical problems.
- Assist in project communications and issue straightforward communications to limited audiences.
- Document and track results of discussions, project planning sessions, risk mitigation plans, and modifications to project plan documents.
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating information to support project design and planning.
- Gather and publish/report defined metrics data relating to project attributes.
- Assist in project risk assessment and contingency planning.
- Participate in and provide input to ongoing project methodology process improvement efforts.
- Ensure organization readiness by incorporating appropriate planning, communications, and mitigation activities.
Qualifications:
- PMI certification.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Project management knowledge and practical experience with large software projects.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Project application server version (preferred) and Office Professional Suite.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of MS Project and MS Visio.
- General knowledge of IT functions and disciplines.
- Advanced degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in IT Project Management.

Pay Range: $30-33/ HR W2
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
