Business Systems Analyst II
DPP is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.
Work arrangement:
- Hybrid: 2 days/week onsite, and as needed
- W2 position: 12 months
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance.
Position summary:
- The Business Systems Analyst will manage Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities, providing processing, monitoring and reporting on security and compliance risk items.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem solving, decision-making skills, interpersonal and ownership skills.
- Facilitate collaboration with others in solving problems and providing recommendations.
- Good communication skills in presenting to customers and senior management both verbally and in writing.
- Flexible in adapting to change or developing new security strategies/processes.
- This is a long-term opportunity for the BSA to develop and grow into a Security Risk Analyst role.
About the team:
- You will be joining a small, agile team that supports over 20 Lines of Business and leads key initiatives including Enterprise Risk Management, Third-Party Risk, IAM, and Application Security.
- The team manages corporate security policies, conducts risk assessments, and presents findings to leadership.
- Members also contribute to governance committees and the annual security and compliance budget.

Preferred certifications:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

Minimum required work experience:
- 4 years of IT business analysis experience.
Required education/equivalencies:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, Bus. Admin., or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
Responsibilities:
- Process new ERM Risk Item submissions and manage monthly updates to Business Unit Risk Registers.
- Monitor the Enterprise.Security mailbox for updates and communications related to ERM items.
- Track and report on ERM Risk Items, generating metrics and reports for the CISO.
- Facilitate risk review meetings with various levels of management (e.g., Level 1, Level 2, ORCA), including scheduling, leading discussions, documenting outcomes, and managing follow-ups.
- Create and deliver presentations to communicate ERM topics, updates, and processes to leadership.
- Design and implement automated workflows and dashboards using Power Automate and Power BI to support risk and security reporting.
