Job Description Leading Atlanta Corporation is searching for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team.Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax work papers including calculation of M-1s, collaborating with external tax professionals
  • Prepare estimated tax /extension payments for all corporate and partnership entities
  • Assist in preparation of income tax provisions
  • Assist in various tax analyses/projections
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly REIT testing
  • Prepare personal property tax returns for corporate and regional offices
  • Prepare business licenses for corporate office
  • Prepare quarterly Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) returns
  • Investigate and respond to all tax notices
  • Organize and prepare work papers for state auditors on an as needed basis
  • Research tax issues on an as needed basis
  • Assist Development Accountants with the real estate fixed assets in Yardi FAS system
  • Review/maintain tax depreciation for all real estate assets

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Masters in Tax preferredCertifications: CPA preferredExperience:

  • Minimum 3 years related tax experience
  • Real Estate tax experience preferred
  • REIT taxation and partnership experience preferred
  • IFRS experience preferred
