Team Lead – AML Cayman Islands

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Team Lead for our AML/Compliance department. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of compliance, reporting, and risk management, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, resolve complex issues, and drive continuous improvement. This person needs to have extensive and in depth knowledge of the Cayman Island financial compliance structure. This position would be a full time, completely remote opportunity. Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of compliance policies at the operational level, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Manage compliance tools to monitor and improve regulatory compliance, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Mentor and support Senior Analysts and junior staff, fostering professional development and preparing future leaders.
• Collaborate with leadership to address complex compliance issues and align operational performance with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or governance, with a background in team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment, with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
