Position Description:

The organization is seeking an experienced and visionary AI Product Manager to lead the development of AI-first solutions across the retail product ecosystem. This is not an AI bolt-on role; the selected candidate will be responsible for rethinking how products operate, deliver value, and evolve, starting from AI as the core design principle. This position will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and customer teams to define and deliver transformative experiences powered by machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation.

The ideal candidate brings a strong product mindset, a track record of delivering AI-first solutions, and a deep understanding of how AI can reshape user experiences and business outcomes. While experience in retail or hospitality is a plus, it is not required; what matters most is the ability to demonstrate impact through AI-driven product innovation, whether in this domain or another. Curiosity, clarity of thought, and the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, elegant product experiences are valued.

Requirements:

• 2–5+ years as a Product Manager in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• 1+ year building and shipping AI-first products (beyond bolt-on AI features).

• Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals, model lifecycle, data pipelines, and responsible AI principles.

• Experience with LLMs, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation (preferred).

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with influence across teams and levels.

• Background in retail technology, convenience stores, or oil industry operations (preferred but not required).

• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at bringing clarity to complex technical discussions.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

• Lead the definition and execution of AI-first product initiatives.

• Drive alignment between engineering, design, and customer teams.

• Deliver measurable impact by embedding AI into user experiences and business outcomes.

• Define and execute strategies placing AI at the center of the user experience, business logic, and workflows.

• Translate ambiguous opportunities into clear product visions leveraging AI to solve customer problems.

• Partner with engineering and data science to scope, prioritize, and deliver AI-first features.

• Collaborate with design to ensure AI interactions are intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy.

• Work with customer-facing teams to validate hypotheses, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.

• Track delivery milestones, manage risk/scope, and provide proactive stakeholder updates.

• Own the roadmap for AI-first initiatives, balancing innovation with feasibility and impact.

• Write clear product requirements and user stories grounded in AI capabilities and constraints.

• Drive experimentation to validate AI models and product-market fit.

• Ensure each release meets functional and performance expectations.
