Our client is large well-funded Private Equity/Real Estate Fund with over a 20 year track record or responsible investing. Currently seeking to add a VP/Director of Real Estate Investments, select individual will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in the Southeastern U.S.

Identify, negotiate, and execute acquisition transactions across various commercial real estate asset classes including but not limited to; healthcare, student-housing, commercial, industrial, and data centers )

  • Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
  • The role will ensure that real estate initiatives support the company’s business objectives, operational efficiency and financial performance
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex real estate transactions, from site selection and financial analysis to negotiation and execution,
  • Lead and manage the real estate acquisitions team, providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction
  • Vice President/Director of Acquisitions will report to the Managing Director, Acquisitions and will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms’ brand and manage the full life-cycle acquisitions process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities
  • Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and structuring of acquisition deals
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success
  • Work closely with the legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs
  • Manage and mentor small team of junior professionals

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience with commercial Real Estate
  • Proven experience leading acquisition teams and managing large-scale transactions
  • Top Academic pedigree required
  • CFA/MBA strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts
  • Excellent leadership abilities to lead and manage a team of real estate professionals, providing guidance and direction in executing acquisition strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends
  • Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
