Must have:

– An Associate’s degree from an accredited higher education institution in a related field or an equivalent combination of pertinent education and/or experience. – At least two (2) years of experience in simulation-based education, healthcare, biomedical engineering, and/or information technology services. *Preferred Qualifications:* – Health Care Simulation Operations Specialist Certification (CHSOS). – Familiarity with patient simulation technologies, both software and hardware. – An advanced degree from an accredited higher education institution in a related field. *Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:* – Proficient in learning new software and hardware. – Capacity to assess, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly. – Ability to collaborate with both internal and external parties across various levels of training. – Competence in handling multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. – *Knowledge:* – Understanding of patient simulation technologies, including installation, maintenance, and operating system proficiency, particularly Laerdal 3G/LEAP and Gaumard/UNI. – Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and software for recording, duplicating, mixing, and editing. – Knowledge of electronics principles, audio-video components, computers, and peripheral devices. – *Skills:* – Strong interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem-solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills. – Competency with computer applications and programs relevant to the position (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Internet, database applications, and Mac OS). – Attention to detail and follow-up abilities, as well as robust customer service skills and professional phone and email etiquette. —

Responsibilities:


I will provide support to the WellStar School of Nursing and its educational programs by managing simulation technology, operating and maintaining medical simulation equipment and software, and assisting faculty with conducting simulations. I will collaborate with administrators, faculty, and students to ensure that simulation activities meet learning objectives and comply with safety regulations and industry standards. *Key
