This role is based out of the Outpost, our Portland, Oregon office.The application window will be open until November 7 or until we reach our cap of 100 applicants. We’re looking for team members with a One Team and Genuine Care mindset who are inspired to share the delight of the Tillamook brand with each other and others every day.About the TCCA Summer Intern Program:Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA)’s Summer Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program for graduate and undergraduate students to join the Tillamook team to connect to our 115-year-old heritage. Our interns play a significant role in solving real-world business challenges and enjoy bites of our ice cream, cheese and beloved dairy products every step of the way. As a farmer-owned cooperative, we invite interns to visit the farms of our farmer-owners so they can see what cow care, environmental stewardship and the daily operations of a dairy farm look like, up close. In addition to the farm tour, we host multiple enriching experiences throughout the duration of the program, that include being an honorary Tillamook taste bud for the day with our immersive cheese and ice cream tastings, “college-inspired” cooking class with our executive chef, resume & interview workshop, sales market tours and so much more!This role is based out of the Outpost, our Portland, Oregon office.The application window will be open until November 7 or until we reach our cap of 100 applicants. Between November 10 and December 8, we will review applications and move selected candidates through our interview process with the goal of having all interns identified no later than the end of the year.What you will do: Social listeningSupport across social channels with relevant comments, engagement, and outreachSupport Social team on TikTok through community engagement and managementTrendspotting on Instagram & TikTokRegular social recon, looking at trending content to recap and identify opportunities for Tillamook to join conversationContent CapturesAssist the Social Media Manager on social shoots on-set, prepare set-up, and captureReporting Gather metrics for social & creator content high performers, inputting into quarterly reports & monthly cross-functional recapsAnalyze high & low performing content for future optimizationsSocial listening and reporting with new Sprinklr Enterprise system.Work with social team on brand sentiment trend reporting, share of voiceSpecial Project IdeasCompetitive Audits: Work on a framework for capturing competitive marketing activity on a regular basis across the funnel, including all channels to benefit our competitive audit work in partnership with Category Growth.Brand Act Integration with Omni-Shopper: Analyze a past Brand Act (or forward thinking to Fall 2026 Brand Act) to help us better integrate with Instacart and influencers at specific customers.Here’s a day in the life:Spend the morning checking the current social landscape, from tagged content in TikTok to trends across social platformsFlag relevant trends and tags to the Social Media Manager and Influencer Team Lead, assist in recommendation of when and how to respondGather metrics for creator and social posts for an upcoming reporting share-out, connecting with cross-functional partners to identify trends and relevant insights across multiple channelsPrepare for an upcoming shoot by finding relevant shooting locations and assembling the pre-production from approved campaign decksConnect with the loyalty team to answer fan questions relevant to the social team and to assist on community management opportunities for upcoming campaignsKnowledge, skills, and abilities: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program and not due to graduate the semester prior to the internshipCurrently studying marketing or similar field of studyExperience in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word and ExcelAbility to compile data and consolidate integrated learningsInterest in marketing and especially social mediaWe are committed to creating a diverse culture and inclusive conditions where all employees are heard, valued and feel a sense of belonging.
