Senior Data Modeler

A tech services company in Atlanta, Georgia is actively seeking a new Senior Data Modeler for a promising opportunity with their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and collaborate with data architects, engineers, and analysts to define data structures and standards

• Define and enforce data modeling best practices, naming conventions, and design patterns across projects

• Create and manage data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation.

• Ensure data integrity, normalization, de-normalization, and referential integrity in model design

• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or database design

• Expertise in dashboard development using Sigma

• Good knowledge on Snowflake

• Good knowledge of data modeling using Erwin.

• Deep knowledge of data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio

• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and 3NF/OLTP models

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts

• Experience modeling data for enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and/or cloud data platforms

• Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and how data models interface with them

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Ability to work across multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
