- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- 6 years of experience in analysis, coding, implementation, and testing of Big Data applications (API & Batch) on AWS Cloud
- Strong experience with Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Cassandra, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, and MapReduce
- 8–10 years of coding experience in Scala
- 6–8 years of experience in Spark development
- Proficient in PySpark and REST API development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including EMR, EC2, ECS, S3, Airflow, Step Functions, and API Gateway
- Skilled in developing and tuning batch applications using Spark, Hadoop, EMR, Java, and Python
- Experience with Linux environments including shell scripting and Python scripting
- Strong understanding of REST API and SOAP web services
- Extensive experience in performance tuning and optimization of big data pipelines
- Ability to work with microservices architecture on AWS
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with data engineering best practices and cloud-native development
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain big data applications using Spark, Scala, and other technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient data solutions
- Optimize and tune big data pipelines for performance and reliability
