Position: Manufacturing Procurement Specialist

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $65–$80/hour

Location: Remote

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week, fully remote and asynchronous

Role Responsibilities

• Write realistic procurement scenarios and tasks based on real-world manufacturing experience
• Develop examples involving vendor negotiations, pricing strategies, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluation
• Create detailed use cases around cost analysis, contract management, quality assurance, and supply chain coordination
• Review and assess AI-generated procurement responses for accuracy, compliance, and industry best practices
• Provide structured, detailed feedback to help improve AI understanding of manufacturing procurement workflows
• Collaborate with research teams to refine processes and ensure scenario authenticity

Ideal Qualifications

• Strong experience in a buying, procurement, or supply chain management role within manufacturing
• Proven record of vendor relationship management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
• Familiarity with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and digital workflow tools
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and attention to detail
• Demonstrated recognition or achievements in procurement or operations management
