IT Asset Manager
TheIT Asset Managerwill be a key member of the IT Customer Experience (ITCX) team, responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle management of all IT hardware and software assets across the enterprise. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, vendor licensing agreements, and financial accountability, leveraging ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM) to drive automation, accuracy, and visibility.
This individual will work closely with Procurement, Finance, Security, and IT Operations teams to optimize asset utilization, reduce risk, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. You will have a hybrid schedule with at least two days/week at our Miami headquarters in Brickell.
Your Impact
Asset Lifecycle Management
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets (hardware, software, peripherals) from procurement through retirement.
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date asset repository within ServiceNow ITAM, ensuring data integrity and alignment with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Partner with IT Customer Experience Analysts to streamline asset issuance, returns, and refresh processes.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Develop and enforce IT asset management policies and procedures in collaboration with IT leadership and Security.
- Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements, maintenance contracts, and internal audit requirements.
- Conduct regular asset audits and reconciliation activities to validate inventory accuracy and policy adherence.
- Generate and analyze asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance reports to support strategic planning.
Vendor & Financial Management
- Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, renewals, and budgeting for IT assets.
- Support cost optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities to consolidate vendors or reduce underutilized assets.
ServiceNow ITAM Administration
- Serve as the subject matter expert for ServiceNow ITAM, defining workflows, automation, and integrations with CMDB, Discovery, and Procurement.
- Partner with ServiceNow administrators and developers to enhance ITAM modules and reporting dashboards.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to align asset management practices with organizational goals.
- Support training and awareness programs to promote proper asset handling and accountability across the enterprise.
Your Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management or related IT Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IT Asset Management (Hardware and Software Asset Management modules).
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes, asset lifecycle management, and CMDB relationships.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, SAM Pro, and integrations with procurement systems.
- Certifications such as ITIL, ServiceNow ITAM, or Certified Hardware/Software Asset Manager (CHAMP/SAMPro).
