Biomed Electronics Technician, Level 1
Akkodis is seeking a Biomed Electronics Technician, Level 1 for a Contract with a client inIrvine, CA. The ideal candidatemust be skilled in troubleshooting and repairing medical devices, with a strong ability to configure equipment for installation and document all repair activities accurately.
Rate Range: $19/hour to $20/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Biomed Electronics Technician, Level 1 job responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and repair defective or damaged biomedical equipment following company standards.
- Configure and prepare loaner or replacement devices for installation or shipment.
- Document all repair activities, investigation results, and configuration steps in the system.
- Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Stay current with product updates and technical training across assigned equipment lines.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical device repair or product configuration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair biomedical equipment using hand tools and diagnostic software.
- Proficiency in documenting repair activities and working within ERP systems.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
