Lead Software Developer
Requirements
Must have:
– A university degree in Computer Related Sciences or a similar field. – Over 5 years of experience as a Python backend engineer. – Established experience with relational database systems, particularly MySQL. – Familiarity with distribution systems. – Ability to organize and document solutions effectively. – A drive to simplify systems and processes. – Strong object-oriented programming skills. – Effective communication skills (both oral and written), as well as collaboration and interpersonal abilities. – Experience with AWS, Apache Spark, and machine learning frameworks and libraries.
Responsibilities:
- I will assign tasks to you as the project lead or Team Lead (TL) and expect you to prepare and approve functional and design specifications with all relevant stakeholders. – You will ensure your assigned tasks are completed within designated deadlines and quality standards. – Provide estimations, confirm task duration with the manager, and contribute to the project plan for your assigned areas. – You will evaluate existing data systems and develop best practices for data coding to ensure system consistency. – Update and optimize local and metadata models, and assess implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. – Troubleshoot and optimize data systems while understanding business drivers and analytical use cases to translate these into data products. – Design, implement, and maintain reliable and efficient pipelines that generate business-critical data using cloud technology. – Address area-level risks and provide and implement mitigation plans. – Report on area readiness and quality, raising concerns in crisis situations that go beyond your area of responsibility. – Initiate and conduct code reviews while creating code standards, conventions, and guidelines. – Suggest technical and functional enhancements to add value to the product and continuously work on improving your professional skills. – Collaborate effectively with other teams.
