Simulation Software Developer (Entry or Mid-Level)
Requirements
Must have:
– An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required; a clearance active within the past 24 months is valid). – A minimum of 2 years of experience with a Linux Development Environment. – At least 2 years working with C++. – A minimum of 2 years of experience using version control systems, such as Git or Subversion. – Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our Virtual Warfare Center’s virtual simulation team, you will collaborate with both our Boeing development team and external partners within a large-scale federated simulation environment. Your role will involve supporting Contractual Research and Development initiatives and working closely with customers to define and implement modeling and simulation in aid of warfighters during their experimentation efforts. You will be expected to help identify requirements, develop simulation software, troubleshoot existing applications, and assist in creating software designs and testing plans.
