Job Title: Data Governance Analyst

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Contract – 3 months

About the Job

As a Data Governance Analyst , you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Master Data Management (MDM) platform. You’ll help define and enforce data governance policies, ensure data quality across core domains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive trusted, consistent data throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and best practices in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage data quality, consistency, and completeness across key domains (e.g., test, client).
  • Partner with data stewards, data owners, and technical teams to resolve data issues and align on standards.
  • Maintain documentation for data definitions, metadata, and data lineage.
  • Promote adoption of the MDM platform by aligning data processes and rules across departments.
  • Support reporting, audits, and compliance activities related to data governance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work across business and technical teams to enforce governance standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MDM tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio).
  • Familiarity with data lifecycle management and metadata documentation.
  • Ability to influence and drive change in a cross-functional environment.
