Our client is seeking a Director of Sales who will be responsible for leading the growth of the Women’s Sportswear, Jeans, and Suiting businesses within the North America full-price wholesale channel. This role requires strong cross-functional partnership, particularly with Merchandising and Design, to ensure the seasonal product offering aligns with consumer demand and supports sales expansion. The Director will be instrumental in driving current account growth, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the brand remains competitive in the evolving marketplace.

  • The salary range for this role is $150,000 — 185,000.

**Responsibilities:

**

  • Ensure consistent follow-through at all milestones—briefing, development, line finalization, and go-to-market—to deliver the right product mix for the NA wholesale business
  • Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key retail partners to grow market share, increase revenue, and maximize profitability
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of key full-price retailers—including Macy’s, Belk, and Dillard’s—to guide account-specific strategies and opportunities
  • Partner closely with Global Merchandising to deliver seasonal product briefs informed by current selling, hind-sighting, and competitor analysis
  • Leverage weekly selling performance, market trends, and competitive insights to inform future product strategy and assortment planning
  • Collaborate with account buying teams to align on seasonal strategies, ensure inventory efficiency, and drive profitable sales outcomes
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape across Women’s Sportswear, Jeans, and Suiting; provide insights to internal teams to enhance market positioning
  • Support development of account-specific marketing initiatives in partnership with the NA Marketing team
  • Work with financial planning to forecast demand, analyze performance by retailer, and adjust plans to optimize sell-through and inventory flow
  • Conduct seasonal hindsight reviews to refine strategies and improve future planning cycles
  • Partner with the North America Visual Merchandising team to bring product stories to life in a compelling and cohesive way in-store
  • Travel regularly to top doors and key markets to assess in-store execution, identify growth opportunities, and stay close to the consumer and competitor landscape

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 6-8+ years related Wholesale sales experience
  • Prior experience in leading and managing account executives
  • High level of analytical skills, problem solving, and interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Possess high taste level
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility with schedule for Market Calendar and Special Projects
  • Flexibility to travel
