BEST Program Security Analyst

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly – $75.00 USD Hourly

Description:

Job Title: Security Analyst – Financial Systems (BEST Programme)

Location: Boston, MA – Hybrid

Job Type: Contract – (24months extension)

Experience Required:

• Operational security support experience
• Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Strong understanding of enterprise security practices (IAM, RBAC, SaaS, Cloud, Data Security, etc.)
• Experience in large-scale public or private sector implementations
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 2700x, ITIL, COBIT, NIST
• Knowledge of financial systems security requirements
• Strong technical knowledge of operating systems and security technologies
• Experience developing and maintaining security policies and procedures
• Network infrastructure knowledge (routers, switches, firewalls, protocols)
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• SaaS cloud implementation experience
• Operational security support in SaaS environments
• Audit, compliance, or governance experience
• Experience with Microsoft and Snowflake security tools

Education Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, System Analysis, or related field
• Equivalent experience in audit compliance and security risk management also considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement security policies and standards for user roles and data access
• Provide operational support to teams and users
• Identify and configure end-user roles and permissions
• Develop user security rollout procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on security controls
• Monitor system use and data access irregularities
• Assist with incident response and resolution
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and security threats
• Support implementation of Mosaic security profiles (Azure AD, roles, workflows)
