Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)

Employment Type: W2 Only (NO C2C/1099)

Duration: 12 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven IT Project Manager to lead and deliver complex technology projects across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, working with both technical and business stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless execution of projects.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure projects align with business objectives and comply with regulatory and security standards.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and leadership.
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies or Waterfall processes depending on project needs.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, status reports, and change logs.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Proven experience managing software development , infrastructure , or cloud migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC , Agile , Scrum , and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA , MS Project , Smartsheet , or Asana.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Background in data governance , cybersecurity , or AI/ML project oversight.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA , SOX , PCI-DSS , or GDPR.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
