Data Insight and Reporting Analyst

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $40.00 USD Hourly – $45.00 USD Hourly

About the Role As a Data & Insight Reporting Analyst, you will lead efforts to transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You’ll work independently and collaboratively to design, build, and maintain reporting solutions that support business operations and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data analysis to support business initiatives and strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses using tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
• Translate data into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for stakeholders at all levels.
• Define and document data definitions, business rules, and quality standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Conduct data audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process and data improvements and lead implementation efforts.
• Mentor junior analysts and serve as a resource for cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.

Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to interpret trends and deliver insights.

Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working independently with minimal guidance.

Proven ability to solve complex problems and innovate on existing solutions.

Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders through data.
