O&M Technical Program Manager
The Technical Program Manager (O&M) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Operations & Maintenance program that ensures alignment with Intel standards, client requirements, and industry best practices. This role provides strategic leadership across maintenance disciplines, driving reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization while maintaining strong client partnerships and program excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee the O&M program framework in alignment with Intel standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Manage the full lifecycle of O&M activities, including preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary client interface, providing regular updates on program performance, KPIs, and resource utilization.
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PAS, PM hour reduction, CM backlog reduction, mean time between failures (MTBF), system uptime, and cost per work order.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and reliability enhancements, to increase efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Identify and implement cost savings opportunities through optimized scheduling, resource allocation, and streamlined O&M practices.
- Review, approve, and maintain O&M documentation such as SOPs, PM job plans, and CM closure reports to ensure accuracy and best practices.
- Coordinate across multiple disciplines (Mechanical, Process, Waste, Electrical, I&C, and Systems) to ensure consistent program execution and accountability.
- Develop and manage program budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation plans to support long-term sustainability and cost control.
- Provide strategic oversight for workforce training, knowledge retention, and succession planning to strengthen team capability and readiness.
- Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience developing and managing technical programs aligned with client standards and industry best practices.
- Strong background overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance programs with emphasis on reliability engineering and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to define, monitor, and report on KPIs such as system uptime, MTBF, and maintenance backlog reduction.
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and process systems to ensure alignment and accountability.
- Skilled in conducting root cause analysis, identifying process inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with experience presenting performance metrics, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ability to develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, budgets, and workforce plans that support program sustainability.
Education / Licenses / Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Associate’s, Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, or related field preferred, but not required.
