LotusWorks is seeking experienced Project Engineers (MEP) to support the technical execution of large-scale, mission-critical construction projects. Reporting to the Program Engineer, you will coordinate with project teams, design professionals, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve field coordination issues, ensure constructability, and maintain alignment across disciplines.

We have multiple openings across the following disciplines:

  • Process Mechanical Systems
  • Electrical
  • Offsite Modular (OSM)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support meetings involving area managers, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Interface between area managers and multiple subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
  • Review and interpret design drawings, construction documents, and technical manuals; quantify materials required for construction.
  • Coordinate civil, architectural, structural (CSA), and MEP systems within the overall project scope.
  • Review and process shop drawings, product data, and technical submittals; ensure cross-discipline compatibility and constructability.
  • Generate, receive, and distribute Requests for Information (RFIs) and change documents.
  • Support BIM coordination, clash detection, and resolution processes.
  • Participate in QA/QC activities, including pre-functional testing and system start-up.
  • Assist in commissioning and turnover of systems.
  • Provide technical field support, including layout, verification, and sequencing of installations.
  • Attend pre-installation meetings and document as-built conditions.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineers to ensure integration with architectural, structural, and process systems.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer in commercial or mission-critical construction; hyperscale/data center experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, trade sequencing, and commissioning workflows.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience with project management software such as Prolog, Procore, E-Builder, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, specifications, and drawings.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate extended hours or off-shift work.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent trade experience preferred.
