Field Superintendent (MEP)
LotusWorks is seeking experienced Field Superintendents (MEP & Industrial Systems) to oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure construction is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. These roles will manage multiple scopes in complex, mission-critical environments, coordinating trades and supporting commissioning efforts.

- High Purity Systems
- Electrical
- Low Voltage — LSS
- Instrumentation & Controls (I&C)
- Trestle / Offsite Modular (OSM)

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate field construction activities across assigned discipline(s), including MEP, structural, and architectural scopes.
- Lead daily work of subcontractors and field crews, ensuring compliance with design, specifications, and project schedule.
- Drive short-interval planning, look-ahead schedules, and overall alignment with master schedule.
- Monitor field productivity and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct daily supervisor coordination meetings, trade walks, and safety briefings.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and participate in audits and incident investigations.
- Monitor installation quality, compliance with design, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA/QC teams for inspections, punch lists, and system turnover milestones.
- Support commissioning efforts, including functional testing and system readiness.
- Maintain accurate field reports, progress photos, and as-built documentation.
- Review and provide feedback on RFIs, submittals, cost estimates, and construction documentation as it relates to field conditions.
- Resolve design and constructability issues proactively.
- Communicate progress, constraints, and labour status to project leadership.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ field supervision experience in construction, with experience in MEP and/or industrial systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent scopes in a high-volume or mission-critical environment.
- Knowledge of construction means and methods, trade sequencing, and commissioning workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to safety compliance with OSHA standards; OSHA 30 certification required.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and familiarity with project management software (Procore, Primavera P6).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks is a plus.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
- Trade qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering, Construction Management preferred.
