The candidate that fits this position has experience as a NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer and is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of an organization’s IT infrastructure, which includes networks, servers, and applications. This role involves 24/7 monitoring, real-time incident response, troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to senior engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical skills, capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. develops the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that support business processes and data including: Mapping the relationships between IT platform/infrastructure components (i.e., Technology End Users, IT Systems Software & Hardware, and Info-Communications Transmission Networks). Identifying the key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms impacting the organization’s ability to achieve integration, compatibility, and performance targets. Evaluating total cost of ownership and return on investment of various IT platform/infrastructure alternatives. Additionally, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the complex and large-scale IT infrastructure that supports an entire organization. Create and deploy large-scale IT infrastructure solutions for the enterprise, including server environments, storage, and networking technologies. Work closely with business leaders and other IT teams to align the enterprise architecture with the organization’s strategic goals and future growth.
