PM Caregiver/MedTech
Responsibilities/Qualifications: JCare is seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers and MedTechs to provide care to our residents in West Bloomfield, MI.The Caregiver/MedTech will assist residents with activities of daily living, medication administration, help with laundry and provide companionship and emotional support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, possess excellent communication skills, and foster genuine relationships with seniors.You must be able to work in West Bloomfield, Maple and Drake Roads.Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, specifically but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, etc.
- Passing medications.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist residents with laundry, including bedding.
- Reporting any changes in the resident’s condition to the supervisor.
- Communicate in a professional manner with families, support services, and coworkers of Homestead.
- Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Experience working with the elderly.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Every other weekend is required.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to arrive on time for every shift.
Schedule: These are part-time positions, with days and afternoon shifts available. Every other weekend is a requirement.Pay:Hour starting pay is $16.00 per hour with room for growth.Benefits:
