Product Analyst

New York, NY | Hybrid | Series B Payments Company

My client is a Series B payments company on a mission to modernize how businesses send and receive money. Backed by leading investors, they’re scaling rapidly and are looking for a Product Analyst to join their growing Product & Technology team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, product, and engineering — driving insights that shape the future of a high-growth fintech platform.

The Role

As a Product Analyst, you’ll bridge the gap between technical development and product strategy. You’ll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and key stakeholders to analyze product performance, define metrics for success, and deliver actionable insights that drive customer and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify product performance trends, customer behavior patterns, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define KPIs and monitor the impact of new releases and initiatives.
  • Support roadmap planning by turning data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and automated reporting to improve visibility across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Data Science, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Contribute to A/B testing, feature adoption analysis, and go-to-market evaluations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 2 years of experience as a Solution Engineer, Technical Product Manager, Project Manager, or Product Analyst —ideally within the payments or fintech industry, working closely with merchants and banks.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, APIs, cloud services, web technologies, and system integration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and analytics tools such as Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Mixpanel.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on programming experience with C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with financial technologies, POS systems, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with partners or attend industry events.

Why Join

  • Be part of a fast-growing Series B fintech backed by top-tier investors.
  • Work on high-impact projects shaping the future of digital payments.
  • Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
  • Hybrid working model based in New York City.
