Senior Product Owner / Business Analyst

Contract: 8 months

Location: Onsite, Omaha NE or Denver CO (5 days/week)

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to drive Agile Release Train (ART) delivery in a SAFe environment. You will own the team backlog, define user stories, and partner closely with the Product Manager to ensure delivery of value-aligned features. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep Agile expertise, and familiarity with cloud platforms. Experience with government systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Manager to translate product vision and roadmap into actionable features.
• Own and manage the team backlog, prioritizing for maximum business value.
• Write clear, testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Lead participation in PI planning, system demos, and inspect-and-adapt sessions.
• Engage with development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
• Represent the customer voice, ensuring solutions meet business goals.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to partner with technical and business teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government systems or regulated environments.
• SaaS or enterprise platform product background.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Ability to pass a government security background check specific to the platform.
