About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aeronautical Engineer to contribute to the design, analysis, and testing of advanced aerospace systems. This role involves working on moderately complex components and systems, applying engineering principles to develop innovative solutions, and collaborating across technical teams to deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems.
• Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering software tools, including Siemens NX.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in design and manufacturing.
• Conduct structural analysis hand calculations and tolerance analysis.
• Develop and coordinate test programs to evaluate design performance.
• Manage test activities and oversee fabrication of test articles, including documentation of results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders on technical matters.
• Research and adapt heritage features from previous successful designs.
• Continuously seek innovative approaches to improve design outcomes and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical data and design documentation for review and release.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in mechanical design and structural analysis.
• Experience with tolerance analysis and engineering documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Experience with hardware integration and assembly builds.
