Job Title: SAP SAC Consultant – Remote / Telecommute

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • The SAP Analytics Cloud Specialist will provide advanced support and enhancements for SAC BI and Planning modules.
  • The role involves troubleshooting, content management, integration support, optimization of dashboards and models, and training end-users. This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in SAC, and collaboration with business and IT teams.

Responsibilities:

Support And Maintenance:

  • Provide L2/L3 support for SAP SAC BI and Planning modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAC stories, models, and data connections.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks.

Content Management:

  • Manage SAC content lifecycle, including story creation, versioning, and migration across environments.
  • Ensure compliance with SAC security and governance policies.

Integration And Connectivity:

  • Support SAC integration with SAP HANA, BW/4HANA, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot live and import data connections.

Enhancements And Optimization:

  • Implement enhancements based on user feedback and business requirements.
  • Optimize dashboards and models for performance and usability.
  • Stay updated with SAC feature releases and apply best practices.

Documentation And Training:

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Train business users and internal teams on SAC functionalities and updates.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

  • 6 10 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud implementation and support.
  • Expertise in SAC BI Designer, Analytic Applications, and Digital Boardroom.
  • Strong understanding of SAC live connections, performance tools, and security concepts.
  • Familiarity with HANA Calculation Views and SAP financial reporting (P&L, AP/AR, GL).

Professional Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with SAC story creation and data modeling.
  • Experience migrating SAC content across environments.
  • Knowledge of SAC Planning models is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Education And Certification:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • SAP SAC certification preferred.
