We require the following qualifications for this position: – A minimum of 2 years of project coordination or related experience within a project environment. – Demonstrated experience in managing the financial aspects of inventory. – Basic knowledge of accounting principles. – Familiarity with Oracle Cloud is preferred. – Outstanding organizational and time management abilities. – Strong detail orientation and problem-solving capability. – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all Engineering divisions and locations by providing capital projects and financial support, addressing questions, and resolving challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include: – Establishing projects in Oracle Cloud PPM, which involves creating new projects, employing templates, identifying project managers, and reviewing necessary tasks for project completion. – Monitoring project execution by keeping detailed records that include budgets, deadlines, asset categories, and managing all correspondence related to project completion. – Maintaining close communication with our purchasing coordinator to create Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for new projects. – Collaborating with engineering managers on a monthly basis to document project updates, status, timelines for completion, and close-out processes. – Reviewing outstanding purchase orders. – Assisting in managing proper project closeout activities upon completion, including hypercare, lessons learned, and documenting inefficiencies along with areas for improvement. – Aiding in the fiscal month-end and quarterly closing processes. – Coordinating with Asset Management to capitalize completed projects. – Generating necessary reports for project managers. – Providing additional support to the project team as needed. – Processing all invoices, receiving items for our systems inventory, managing sales orders from inventory, and conducting monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
