Position Overview

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based data platforms. You will manage Databricks clusters, jobs, notebooks, and workspaces, while providing technical guidance on data warehousing and ETL processes. This role offers an opportunity to work with leading cloud technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Databricks architectures for new projects and initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain clusters, jobs, notebooks, and workspaces within Databricks.
  • Provide technical leadership and support on data warehousing (DWH) activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based data solutions.
  • Implement DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and management.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, data platforms, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, Redshift, or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL processes.
  • Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Compensation and Benefits
